Werner Böttcher

Werner Böttcher brings long-standing experience in the waste management and environmental industries, energy and utilities industry, and has a particularly qualified international reputation as a manager and M&A specialist. He can look back on approximately 200 completed transactions and brings M&A experience in a wide range of company sizes. Before joining SOLID TRUST Corporate Finance in 2009, Werner Böttcher held various international management positions, e.g. as a board member of RWE Thames Water Plc, the largest water company in the UK. Among other things, he successfully implemented the sale of all international activities outside the UK and the USA. Previously, Werner Böttcher was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at RWE AG and RWE Umwelt AG, where he successfully concluded numerous transactions in a responsible position.  Before joining the RWE Group, Werner Böttcher held management positions at Westdeutsche Landesbank, Düsseldorf, Euro-Environment Investment S.A., Paris, and CWB Capital Partners, London.
